We create unique lips in Dubai using the currently fashionable Russian Lips technique.
During lip fillers with hyaluronic acid, natural-looking, full lips can be created in up to 20 minutes. The treatment is a simple, quick and painless procedure without the lips losing their sensitivity, reliable and immediate results are guaranteed.
Which types of lips can we correct with lip fillers?
– If the lower and upper lips are flat and thin: this may be a congenital feature, or it may happen that the mouth has lost its fullness during the aging process or due to smoking a lot. In this case, both the lower and upper lips are filled.
– If the upper lip is only visible as a thin line: the upper lip is the first to lose fullness, so the distance between the nose and the lip increases, resulting in a truly “old” look. In this case, only the upper lip needs to be filled.
– If the lower lip is only visible as a thin line: this is the rarest case, then only the lower lip needs to be filled.
– If the mouth contour is disordered (asymmetrical): the right- and left-sided asymmetry of both the lower and upper lips can be corrected very effectively with lip fillers.
How does hyaluronic acid lip filler work?
During the treatment, we fill in the hyaluronic acid, taking into account the shape and proportions of the face, which creates proportional and naturally full lips. This aesthetic treatment does not require a skin test, as the filler injected into the body is completely hypoallergenic.
The basic condition for a successful intervention is disinfection of the surface to be treated, followed by appropriate anesthesia. Since the area around the lips is very sensitive, we use local anesthesia so that the patient does not feel any pain.
The treatment takes only 15-20 minutes. During lip augmentation, hyaluronic acid with a longer absorption time is used as a filler.
The filler is injected with a flexible, blunt cannula through just a few needle punctures, then the filler is distributed in the lips with gentle movements. By using the cannula, we can reduce the chance of bleeding to a minimum, and the edema will be much smaller after the treatment. It is important to know that the lips do not lose their sensitivity after lip fillers!
What is hyaluronic acid lip filler and why do we use this procedure?
The shape and fullness of the lips greatly contribute to the beauty of the face. Lip filling with hyaluronic acid, i.e. highlighting the contour and fullness of the lips, gives a more youthful appearance, thus making the whole face more harmonious.
There are two main types of fillers: absorbable (Hyaluronic acid) and non-absorbable (silicone oil). The only advantage of non-absorbable materials is that they do not need to be refilled regularly, however, these materials do not break down, and as a result, granulomatous nodules may form, which can cause chronic inflammation over time.
The hyaluronic acid used in the EBL Aesthetic Center is a fully reliable, absorbable filler, so lip fillers are completely safe. In the case of absorbent materials of reliable quality, the probability of the development of inflammatory nodules (granuloma) and other side effects is significantly lower.
Another advantage of the procedure is that in the case of hyaluronic acid treatment, the substance breaks down after half a year, so you can even change the shape of the lips during a subsequent lip filler. After about a year, after the substance has been drained, the lips will return to their original state.
How long does the lip filler effect last?
After about 8-12 months, after the material has been drained, the lips will return to their original state. The filler is broken down by the tissue’s own enzymes such as Hyaluronidase and Metalloproteinase, etc., the functioning of these enzymes is greatly influenced by active sports activities, regular sunbathing and tanning and steam baths also speed up the decomposition processes of the material.
In order to avoid complete absorption of the filler, our guests usually come for a “refresher treatment” 6-8 months after the treatment.
It is forbidden to smoke, drink with a straw or avoid a consumption of salty, spicy, hot and spicy foods, caffeine-containing drinks for 3 days, as they can cause severe irritation.
Do not expose the treated area to strong sunlight or tanning beds for at least two weeks.
When is the treatment contraindicated?
We do not perform hyaluronic acid lip fillers in case of inflammation, viral disease (active herpes), existing skin disease, active autoimmune disease, or taking anticoagulants (Aspirin, Plavix, Astrix, Syncumar)!
