What makes Profhilo different?

Profhilo® is a unique skin structure-transforming treatment that stimulates the skin’s collagen and elastin production with the slow release of hyaluronic acid (HA).

How does Profhilo work?
As we age, the body produces less collagen and elastin – these cells give the skin structure its firmness and elasticity. When these cells begin to decrease, the skin loses its elasticity, hydration, and the first signs of aging appear, such as finer and deeper wrinkles.

Profhilo is intended to remedy the root cause of the problem directly – it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin and increases the elasticity and hydration of the skin.

Profhilo should be injected directly under the surface of the skin, just 2 times, 1 month apart. It has a fast effect, enhances and immediately hydrates the skin, smoothes out fine and deeper wrinkles, and improves the texture of the skin.

Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally, and HA levels in the body are balanced by an enzyme known as hyaluronidase, which breaks down hyaluronic acid molecules.

This substance produced by the body is hyaluronidase, which breaks down Profhilo fillers over time, making it the least allergenic filler form, as the body is already prepared to work with the main ingredients of Profhilo®.

Profhilo® hyaluronic acid is the substance that was once used to inject under the skin, as it is biodegradable, its hyaluronic structure is the safest on the market.

Before treatment with Profhilo:
You should avoid blood thinners such as aspirin and other anti-inflammatories such as Ibuprofen or Aleve, fish oil, multivitamins, or vitamin E for at least one day before treatment, as these may increase the appearance of bruising after treatment.

During Profhilo treatment:
An anesthetic cream is used during the treatment to make the procedure pain-free for everyone. We mark the areas to be treated, and then inject the Profhilo filler with a small needle. This may cause mild discomfort, but is easily tolerated by most people, especially if a numbing cream is used.

The entire treatment process usually takes 30 minutes, there is no required time, so you can return to your everyday routine immediately after the treatment

After Profhilo treatment:
You may experience slight swelling or bruising after the treatment, this disappears within a few days and results in a full, tight, youthful appearance in the treated area.

For 24 hours after the treatment, you must avoid touching the area and any intensive exercise, strenuous work, in order for the Profhilo filler to be integrated in the desired place and exert its beneficial effect.

The breakdown time of Profhilo® filler varies from person to person, depending on the amount, type and location of the injected filler, as well as the natural level of hyaluronidase in the body. Generally, Profhilo fillers last approximately 6-12 months, although optimal results can vary between 3 and 18 months.

Profhilo is not a typical dermal filler. It is very different from all other injectables as it is specifically designed to “biologically transform the skin”. It consists of high-quality hyaluronic acid produced by biofermentation, which effectively promotes the production of both natural collagen and elastin, thus successfully renewing the skin from the inside.

How many treatments are needed?
In order to achieve optimal results, it is recommended to perform at least two treatments (one month apart). However, if the skin problems are severe, a third treatment may be recommended. In order to maintain the results, it should be repeated approximately every 6-12 months.

How quickly can the results of the Profhilo treatment be noticed?
You may notice some results immediately after treatment, but the real magic happens over the next 4-8 weeks as your skin builds its new collagen and elastin structure.

Results can typically be seen only after two treatment sessions, one month apart.

Avoid further aesthetic or cosmetic procedures for 2 days. In the first days, it is not recommended to take a sauna or steam bath, use a solarium, and avoid strong sunlight.
